West Bali National Park

West Bali National Park (WBNP) is a nature conservation area managed by a zoning system. The ecosystem inside the park is complete and unique because it is a combination of two ecosystems, namely land and sea.

Terrestrial ecosystems include ecosystems West Bali National Park is one of nature conservation area with original ecosystem and is the last habitat for sparkling birds. This national park has marine biodiversity such as coral reef and marine biota, has mangrove vegetation, swamp forest, savanna, and forest this season.
The specialty of WBNP is to be the last home for the Balinese rabbit (Leucopsar rothchildi). These beautiful animals gather on the Great Prapat Peninsula, precisely Brumbun Bay and Kelor Bay. This bird is the only endemic species of Bali and in 1991 was crowned as a symbol of the fauna of Bali Province and protected by law. The look of this bird is very beautiful and one of the most popular bird lovers of ornamental birds. The spread of starling Bali only covers the village of Bubunan to Gilimanuk, which is about 320 km².

Fauna that inhabit this national park there are 17 species of mammals and 160 species of birds (aves), there are also various types of reptiles and fish. The flora identified in the WBNP is about 176 species including trees, shrubs, climbing plants, vines, herbaceous species, orchids, ferns and grasses.
